Sunrise Aviation Co. Inc. - Sunrise Aviation Co. Inc. was formed in 1992 as a company to provide airport operations at the Estevan Airport and expand airport usage by training pilots and encouraging them to purchase aircraft. Pilots were trained in the Ultra Light, Recreational, Private and Commercial categories. The Airport was a new facility and proved to be excellent for training purposes. In the early 90's four aircraft called Estevan home and due to the flight training provided at the airport, by the year 2000 over 20 airplanes were renting space from the City of Estevan. Today, three twin engine aircraft are working out of Estevan and twenty two single engine airplanes call Estevan home. Sunrise Aviation Co. Inc. has expanded into Manitoba where flight training was provided to strengthen airports in two communities. Sunrise has also expanded into Multi Engine I.F.R. training. Training is provided by a Piper Seneca II, a Cessna Cardinal RG, and two Cessna 172s. Chartered service, pipeline and power line patrol are also available along with the Flight Training. Sunrise Aviation Co. Inc. is looking forward to many more years of service to the Estevan Community and we are proud of our contribution to The Estevan Airport.

Morgan Air - Morgan Air has been providing flight training in Calgary for over 25 years. We are not required to use a specified practice area - we can complete our exercises anywhere around Calgary. This creates a better training environment, as map reading skills and situational awareness are increased. Time isn’t wasted trying to stay out of other training aircraft’s way as can often happen in a limiting practice area. It’s a very short taxi distance to runup bay for 34 where we do our runup checks, since we’re located right across from the bay. When using other runways we can do intersection takeoffs, which reduces taxi time, and leaves more time for flying.Our instructors have a passion for flying that we want to pass on to you. I will continue to look for flight schools in the NWT, the Yukon, and Nunavut however just be aware that if you are from those parts, and are looking for a flight school in the flight school directory that there, in fact, may not be one. The Arctic is not the most hospitable place, due to sudden changes in the weather, to teach someone how to fly. The Arctic, however, is one of the greatest places on Earth in which to get a flying job. I will continue to add to this flight school directory so please come back and check for new updates.
